This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.\nResponsibilities\n\u2022 Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), to include pallet jacks, clamp trucks, sit down forklifts, reach trucks, and other forms of equipment as necessary to perform duties such as unloading freight, order picking, pallet load-out, and stock put away\n\u2022 Operation of automated pallet wrapping machine\n\u2022 Aisle Audits\n\u2022 Processing Small Package shipments\n\u2022 Manual wrapping of pallets with shrink wrap\n\u2022 Maintain/Improve Housekeeping standards\n\u2022 Assembly of corrugate Gaylords and manual banding of shipments\n\u2022 Follow proper documentation practices\n\u2022 Meet or exceed standards for quality, safety, attendance, and productivity\n\u2022 Other duties as assigned\nQualifications\n\u2022 High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred\n\u2022 1-2 years of experience preferred\n\u2022 Good written communication skills preferred\n\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft office preferred\nWhat is expected of you and others at this level\n\u2022 Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks\n\u2022 Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area\n\u2022 Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications\n\u2022 Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution\n\u2022 Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods\n\u2022 Adheres to all quality guidelines\n\u2022 Works under moderate degree of supervision\n\u2022 Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor\n\u2022 Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor\nCandidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.\nCardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience and background.
